WEEKEND EDITION: New Weekend Feature at The Daily Machete
Looking for work can be pretty taxing. At some point every out-of-work job seeker feels like every resume, every interview and every discussion is a make-or-break for their careers - and even their financial lives.
The problem with this is multi-fold: 1) that kind of pressure just isn't healthy; 2) high stress can turn your personality so sour that your loved ones don't want to be around you; 3) stress is but a whisper from desperation - and no employer wants to hire a desperate job seeker.
So, to relieve job seeking stress, The Daily Machete is instituting a new weekly feature: "SUNDAY FUNNIES." Sometimes this will be a video, sometimes an audio recording or podcast, other times a comic strip or even an essay. All will poke fun at the often outlandish process job seekers need to go through to land a job.
Levity helps reduce stress. And the new SUNDAY FUNNIES, hopefully, will provide you with a few moments of that levity.
