RESUMES: Incorporating SEO (Supplemental)
In today's first post, we looked at the basics of how to implement SEO (Search Engine Optimization) into your resume.
To determine what buzz words to use in your resume, be sure to check out Google Suggest. Google Suggest will tell you how many times people search on the word or phrase you're typing. That's valuable information.
Want to see what your key word density is? You could do it old school by going to "Tools" in your word processor, then "Word Count," which will tell you the total number of words. Then you could go to "Edit," then "Find" and type in the word or phrase, counting the occurrences, then doing the math. That's old school. A better, faster way to find your key word density is with Textalyser. Simply copy and paste your document into the box and it will tell you the number of occurrences of your key words. Best of all, it's free!
