INTERVIEWING: Off Site Interviews

Have you had a job interview off site?  Away from the office or business facility?

Sometimes interviews are held at restaurants or hotel conference rooms.  Sometimes they're held during recruitment events.

We'd love to hear your experiences.  In the comments field or by email (editor at wildjobsafari dot com), let us know your answers to these questions:

What kind of job was it for?

Were you interviewed by your prospective manager, an HR person or someone else?

Where was it held?

How did you feel?  Did it make you more relaxed or more nervous?

If it was over a meal, how did you decide what to eat?

Did the one interviewing you seem relaxed or on edge?

Was it productive?  If so, why?

Why was that location chosen?

Please also add other details to flesh out the scenario.  You'll be helping other job seekers who might have off site interviews in the future.
