ADDING VALUE: Review of Yesterday's Slow Leadership Post
If you haven't done so already, check out yesterday's post at Slow Leadership.
The post, entitled "A Few Ideas to Help You Through a Busy Day," offers seven outstanding pearls of wisdom. Some are coping mechanisms and some are well-worn axioms, but all are designed to help add value to the reader.
While the seven pearls themselves aren't revolutionary, they are quite meaty when combined. The first bit of wisdom, for instance ("Nobody cares if you can't dance well. Just get up and dance anyway."), may seem light weight. It isn't - particularly when combined with the other sage, deceivingly simple advice (e.g. "Keep away from jerks as much as you can.).
The real meat, though, is in how the seven pieces of advice are thoughtfully explained and made relevant to the business audience Slow Leadership serves. It can also serve job seekers, as well.
Your assignment today, then, is to read that post from yesterday. In fact, it would be a good idea to continue checking out Slow Leadership's daily posts.
