ADDING VALUE: Professionals V. Amateurs

If you’ve read this blog or our main website WildJobSafari.com for any length of time, then you know how much emphasis we place on practice. Practice interviewing and you’ll get much better at interviewing. Practice your elevator speech and you’ll have a much better one. Practice your networking and you’ll be a better at networking.

Practice, practice, practice.

Why to we place so much importance on practice? Simple:

It's been said that amateurs practice until they can get it right, whereas professionals practice until they can't get it wrong.

Practice reduces flaws. It increases confidence. It produces excellence.

And, when looking for work, it produces job offers.

Remember that time equals money. Therefore, the time you invest in practice equals money you will earn.

It’s really that simple.

IN THE CARAVAN: Practicing your job search skills increases your employability.
